Although the receptionist didn’t speak any English, between google translate and point and smiling, we were checked in early and shown around the hotel. The breakfast was good.
Our room had an awkward shower/tub set up with no shower curtain, but we made the best of it. I think this is a very popular hotel as the weather warms up because there’s a popular road cycling trail and Straznice is central on that map. We were only here two nights, but there’s a couple real good bakeries across the street and a great restaurant/pub close by also. Beautiful town but be careful walking along the Main Street , it’s very busy and tons of lorries going through town

Dont go here

terrible experience. were a group of 40 travelers.we arrived late in the evening from Croatia. the person in charge threatened us with contacting the police... wtf??. Staff people can't work in a hotel. DON'T GO HERE. stress and humiliation

Basic tsjechisch food and pizza.
Price is not high but the hotel and restaurant attracts german tourists.
There are always busses in front
Nice terras. Waitresses are friendly and accomodation is clean. They understand german, sometimes english

Restaurant not good

We came last year to taste pizza and local food. We had no complains. This year we go back and we find again the friendly staff and german translated foods. This year we had no good food.
Chickenbreast with mushrooms was not fresh, without any juice, very dry.Everything very salty.
Apart from the friendly staff, kitchen we will not recommend.

The best hotel in Straznice

My partner is from Straznice. We took my visiting parents down to Straznice for the annual folk dance festival. The hotel is located in Straznice - not in Hodonin. Tripadvisor should fix this. The hotel is basic. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms nice. The breakfast is good. The location is very close to the main square of the town and was within a reasonable walking distance to the park where the festivities take place. For the festival parade, it goes right past the hotel. The restaurant on the hotel terrace has good food and the service is friendly. Recommended for anyone coming to this part of Moravia. And the festival is highly recommended.
