Great accommodations, food, and setting. Eager to go back.

We spent three nights at Putten Seter. During the day, we went hiking. We signed up for the breakfast and dinner options, although our cabin was fully functional. The food was farm fresh and deliciously prepared. We felt spoiled by Anette, Guro, and Ida. This was our second visit. We had a family reunion at Putten Seter 12 years ago. I hope to be back soon. I slept the best after a day of hiking and the fresh air and food. Great place for a gathering or family trip.

Lovely welcoming lodge in scenic location

We stayed here for three nights in a traditional cabin with bunks,log burner and kitchenette.
The cabin was toasty warm , great to warm you up after the chilly days spent skiing.
Annette and her husband, Bur , were so welcoming and helpful with our ski equipment and we loved hearing about the family history of the lodge.
Annette's cooking using local ingredients is fabulous, we ate very well on our stay. That breakfast photo was the spread for two of us!
Snow was a little crusty but regularly reset with XC tracks, the 3km run through the tress to Utsitka viewpoint was lovely.

A fantastic experience

Great experience again. Incredibly nice and welcoming host, world-class food and amazing nature in immediate proximity.

Warmth and comfort in beautiful surroundings

A beautiful location and the warmest of welcomes. We had a cosy and comfortable cabin with full board and enjoyed lavish breakfasts, great packed lunches and thoughtful, hearty and delicious locally-sourced suppers. Fourth-generation owners were a fantastic source of knowledge and our guides were excellent. Highly recommended.

Rondane step by step

An environment certainly simple and rustic, but clean, familiar and welcoming. The owners are really nice and helpful. Food at Km zero that tells care and attention to guests. A stage that fits well in a trek in the Rondane park.
