A 25-minute drive from Dublin, the Maynooth College Hospitalitys includes high-quality rooms with free Wi-Fi and private parking on site. The campus is just a 1-minute walk from Maynooth Castle and 10 minutes from the train station. Rooms are located on the South Campus and all have a wardrobe, desk and tea and coffee facilities. Many have their own private bathrooms, while others have use of shared facilities. Breakfast is served each morning in Pugin Hall. Please note that the site is locked after 01:00 and there is no access. The campus enjoys views of Silken Thomas' yew tree, the Geraldine Castle and the Church of Ireland parish church. In County Kildare, the Maynooth College Hospitalitys is within 10-20 minutes’ drive of the towns Lucan and Blanchardstown, home of Ireland’s largest shopping center and the National Aquatic Center.

Good support for the night

I slept here a couple of nights to attend a conference at the university. The single room is large and all in all comfortable, spartan but with what you need. The shared bathrooms are spacious and kept clean. The building is quiet, generally you sleep well. The breakfast buffet is quite varied.

My girlfirend lives in Maynooth and I took a trip up to see her, I stayed here, upon arrival the reception was unbearably rude to my partner, when she tried to check in the was apparently a sign saying no entry to the recetpion.. which was actually there but in a place you wouldn’t see it, she was told to leave then, we then got an email to say we could go back and check in but the sign was still there so we emailed and a woman came out and tore it up and huffed and puffed. We got in and she didn’t take any details, (her details were taken online booking but mine were for room)
She was very distraught by the actions of the reception. I go upstairs and try to find the room as we didn’t get directions. I found the room and the state of the room was rediculous, the floor was torn up, the mugs were dirty, white stains on the bed(I hope it wasn’t what I think it was) I emailed to make a complaint and got passed along a chain to be followed with a threat saying it’s not my room and I’ll be fined 120 for it!! How have they made such a holy f*uck up… emailed back saying this was my room and this was what we tried to say to reception but they didn’t care, they only wanted the pay at the end of the week…
They threatened to call authorities and have me blacklisted. For what? Making a complaint? That is absurd…
I would advise any solo people or couples to avoid, as we are looked down on and threatened with blackmails when asking about the pure state of the room!!

I Dont Have Words...Look For Yourself

A Filthy Duvet That Cost 60 Odd Euro To Sleep In, Stinking Mattress (Feet) ... Afraid To Look At It, Pillow With Hairs On It & Only One Of Them, Industrial Piping & Wiring,Concrete Walls & Ceiling,Stained Carpet Tiles. Entrance Hall Smelled Of Cats. Inadequate Towels. Almost Impossible To Find & Locate Room And Unprofessional Assistance From Untrained Staff. Needs Serious Attention And Serious Cleaning & Training Given To Cleanliness And To Management Who Obviously Know Nothing About Housekeeping Or Hospitality.

South campus accommodation

I would like to compliment Onyee? Who booked me in to accommodation today. She was so friendly and helpful, a vast difference to experience on the north campus where directions were poor, no sign posts for various houses, and wasn't very clear when booking that we have to go to the reception - pin drop sends you to the middle of the campus.
The experience was saved by Onye in the South campus who was so kind and I can highly recommend this place to stay (not North!)

No a great initial experience…

Poor instructions from Campus, on how to find reception, poor signage around campus to find anything really. Then to be told by unenthusiastic reception that it’s a Seminary… What..!!! I don’t care if it’s a Morgue, put and supply proper signs for people who pay to stay there…
Room was grand for the nite, shared bathrooms which we expected.
Noise coming from external ventilation Systems went on all nite so if your in a room overlooking this roof/ area, bring ear plugs.
Not a great experience to say the least …
