Nice Hotel

Recently we stayed in this hotel during a family trip. Location is very convenient. Staff (right from security) were very polite. Rooms were big, neat and clean. hotel structure or design is bit of old style but maintained very well.
They have their restaurant that server very nice food, food quality is also very nice.

Average stay and food but reasonable priced

To be honest I have seen some reviews online and o YouTube bragging about the hotel, honestly in my view the hotel is pretty average in terms of stay and food. This is a very old hotel located about 3 kms from the mahalaxmi temple and almost the heart of the city. It seemed to be a very popular destination for famous politicians and film stars in the past, you can see some pictures of famous celebrity politicians staying here.
Well as of today, the rooms are average , spacious but looks like the furniture are very old and paint haven't been done for a long time. I had some issue with getting hot water in the morning despite calls for help it was not fixed and we adjusted to the Luke warm water and moved on. The breakfast spread is also limited, very limited. The food is good but nothing great. One good thing is its very reasonably priced. I observed that it is still pretty popular with locals and business community.
Overall, not a bad stay but dont expect any star service. Definitely the Room and food prices are very good and this can be an option for a quick stay over.

A good hotel in Kolhapur

We recently stayed at this property during a family trip. Hotel Atodhya is located at a convenuent location - Tararani Chowk in Kolhapur. It is a little old style hotel.
The rooms are spacious & clean. The staff is courteous. The car parking is available within its premises.
The buffet breakfast is well spread and served in the adjoining building's semi closed terrace.
Overall a recommended hotel while staying in Kolhapur.

Awesome place to be at

Every thing out there beginning with the convenient location of the hotel from all places we visited and to add, the ever smiling attitude by all the departments, such as the security and parking, the courtesy n help at the reception, the easy pezy check in formalities, the room boy assistance, the restaurant staff and finally the stay throughout is so like your home away from home stay. All well planned and organized, especially the awesome food service from the Kitchen section killing our senses with that tasty delicious food. Just a little request to them though, a small room fridge could work wonders especially when u have small kids to have their special food like milk and all stored while your away visiting places of attraction. Thanks to all the staff. Wish to visit again for sure. God Bless

Good Deluxe Hotel

Hotel Ayodhya is an old deluxe hotel at apt location, renovated and pleasing. We stayed here for first time (though the name was known for many years) after stints with other old hotels. The hotel is comfortable. Only one type of rooms, Room size is large, larger than superior rooms of many star hotels. Rooms has one double bed, one small divan and double seating with teapoy. Bathroom is okay. Furnishing is standard ( not upmarket ) and ample, bed is modern and comfortable. Tea sachets and kettle are provided, no refrigerator. Aircon was modern. Service was top notch (usp of all of Kolhapur), polite, fast and efficient. Hotel has ample parking w.r.t rooms. Restaurant was another feather, good ambience, polite & mannered service and very tasty food, we had authentic Kolhapuri dishes. Overall a very nice stay.
