Unforgettable Highlight of Our Ladakh Trip! 10/10 Hospitality
Stop searching—this is where you need to stay in Nubra Valley! My friend and I spent two incredible nights at Sky View Resort, and it was the absolute highlight of our entire trip.
Owners Tsering Zangbo and Angmo (Amu) are the heart of this place; they don't just run a resort, they extend their home. They personally oversaw every single detail of our stay, from comfortable travel arrangements to absolutely delicious meals, making us feel genuinely cared for—truly like family. Their warmth even extended to our driver, who was treated with the same exceptional food and comfortable accommodation as the guests.
The location is a peaceful heaven, especially for anyone who loves stargazing. With wonderful cottages (and more coming soon!), a knowledgeable staff, and a lovely encounter with Tsering and Angmo's incredibly sweet parents, the experience was flawless.
The final touch—a traditional white stole gifted upon departure—was a beautiful symbol of their unmatchable service. Book your stay here; you won't regret it!

If you are looking for exceptional service in Nubra Valley, Sky View Resort is a must-book. The two nights my friend and I spent here were genuinely transformative, thanks to the hospitality of owners Tsering Zangbo and Angmo (Amu).
This is hospitality redefined. Tsering and Angmo are personally involved in every aspect, ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcomed and looked after, like a beloved family member. Their warmth is all-encompassing; we were so impressed that they extended the same excellent accommodation and food to our driver as they did to us—a detail that speaks volumes about their character.
The resort itself is a sanctuary for those seeking peace and quiet and is an ideal spot for astrophiles. The facilities are excellent (we stayed while they had 10 cottages), and the entire staff is helpful and well-informed. Meeting their sweet, elderly parents was an added bonus that reinforced the resort’s beautiful, family-run atmosphere.
The traditional white stole presented to us as a farewell gesture perfectly encapsulated their commitment to service. We left feeling refreshed and incredibly grateful. Highly, highly recommend!

Such a pleasure. Lovely owners, beautiful scenery, and comfy quarters. It's all you really need.

Zangpo and Angmo are the most beautiful people. They are building this resort into a very comfortable place to chill and enjoy this beautiful valley. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The food provided was all cooked by this couple and it was delicious. As the resort becomes more built out, it will become even more comfortable. We were invited to get up at 5:45 to watch the sunrise on the roof. The birds were chirping, the valley was stunningly beautiful, and the sunrise was unforgettable. We even saw a couple bactrian camels in the distance having a morning feed. These people are so gracious and kind, it was a real pleasure spending time in their resort. I would go back any time. The road from the town to the resort is a little bumpy, but well worth the trouble!
