Very nice residence just a stone's throw from downtown Châtel.

Apartment in accordance with the description and our expectations.
We loved everything: the bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the separate toilet, the very functional kitchen and its dishes, the view of the mountains from the balcony and the skylights, the proximity to Lake Vonnes, the downtown Châtel just 1 km away on foot, the quietness (apartment at the back of the residence), and the possibility to enjoy the pool and the spa...
It lacks a bit of brightness in the living room, and a mini oven would be a plus, but everything was great and we will return!

Very good stay at the Flèche d'Or.

Very nice apartment, very clean. Nice swimming pool. A great highlight of the residence, the welcome, kindness and availability of our host Emmanuel! Thanks again to him for the quality of service, the lively evenings...I recommend.

Really helpful

We arrived in an out of season Chatel late one April evening with nowhere to stay and were very fortunate that locals guided us to Emmanuel who kindly opened the doors of La Fleche d'Or, even though it had been closed for the season.
The room was well-designed, spacious with a double bed and bunk beds, kitchen/dining area and bathroom with separate toilet - all spotlessly clean. The shower was a dream and we woke to a glorious view of the local mountain.
We are frequent visitors to Chatel, skiing in winter and walking in summer not only because of the glorious countryside but also due to the kindness and generosity of spirit of the locals. Thank you Emmanuel!

Looks nice but terrible service

Very inflexibel, quite arrogant personell. One bed was not ready at night since there were no blankets, but upon requesting we were told we could get it the next morning. So one of us had to sleep without blankets.
The food was oké but far from original. I would not recommend this place.

Not a 3 star Residence

Apartment 9 was cold, no radiator, just underfloor heating which did not work. The toilet in this apartment is so small that you have to shut the door once you have sat down, then the door is right in front of your face. Building regulations do not seem to apply here it was the most claustrophobic loo we have ever had to use. The rooms are basic which is alright but not overly clean, which is not alright. Breakfast was poor, to make a cup of tea or coffee you use a vending type machine and the water was not very hot therefore tea disgusting. We only had breakfast in the restaurant 1 day, the rest of the time we did it ourselves in our apartment.
The jury is out on the evening meal, if you are on a package deal then you have to choose your weeks meals on the Saturday evening when you arrive. After 2 out of the 3 of us contracted gastroenteritis from where we don't know we weren't so keen to be eating there again.
Would we return here, NO !!
