A fine house with a fine host

We liked the hotel: the interior design style between playfully romantic and modern, spotless, the location quiet, near and below the valley road, bus connection (10' frequency) 100m, the views vary depending on the room/apt., as does the furnishings (we were able to look at some during the guest changeover).
The breakfast was as it should be.
A word about the owner, who is not just the boss, but actively involved:
Referring to a local review - it is incomprehensible to us how one can describe this person as choleric, he was friendly, accommodating, and gave advice for our hikes. The same applies to his wife.
We will definitely come back.
PS : Once again a house where the internet pictures convey accurate impressions

Hotel OK - unfriendly host

Hotel is just outside, but bus stop is only 100m away. Rooms are OK, cleanliness could be better. Breakfast is good and rich. Towels are changed daily for a fee only, Wi-Fi is available.
All in all, the hotel is OK.
What unfortunately is not possible is the unpleasant, choleric manner of the boss of the house. An absolute NoGo. This hotel, under this owner, we will no longer book.

Very rude service , not to recommend!

We are trying to arrange a rebooking with booking.com - although all agreed in written once booking.com paid the money to the hotel - they cancelled our booking. so no vacation for us and no money back. Booking.com was supportive to solve where the hotel was threaten us with lawyers immediately. Very rude and customer unfriendly!

een korte vakantie in hotel Ingeborg, niet 4 sterren waardig

We hadden last minute voor 4 nachten 2 kamers geboekt. Toen we aankwamen stonk 1 kamer enorm naar rook, de eigenaar kon hier niets aan doen en had ook geen andere kamer vrij. De andere kamer was voorzien van een kookplaat/koelkast/snelkoker etc. dit was echter niet gemeld.
Voor de gastenkaart moesten we een borg betalen van Eur 5,- pp (dit zijn wij niet gewend) en tot overmaat van ramp ook nog eens Eur 1,25 per dag voor de wifi (in een 4 sterrenhotel?!) Toen wij dit aangaven, werd gezegd dat dit heel normaal was.
De laatste dag, na het ontbijt waren de bedden al helemaal afgehaald terwijl wij toch nog niet waren uitgecheckt.
Het ontbijt was goed en het was schoon (behalve de stinkende kamer waarin gerookt was en ze niets aan konden doen), maar alles ging niet van harte en bijna zeurderig/opdringerig/controleerbaar. In de badkamer alleen handzeep, verder niets voor onder de douche. Geen ruimte om spullen op te zetten. De sauna hebben we niet gebruikt, hiervoor moest je bij de receptie badjassen opvragen.... Wij zijn gewend bij een 4 sterren hotel dat dit gewoon in je kamer ligt. De inrichting absoluut niet onze smaak.
