Good.

Just a meal in this hotel but welcome and good food. And the city around is nice.

Very eager and helpful staff

Stayed here 2 years ago as a group of friends and again this year. Nothing much has changed in that time.
Rooms are small but comfortable. Bathrooms however are tiny. There is no secure parking.
Property has a restaurant and a bar. The food and service was good and we enjoyed our meals. Staff were super eager and helpful.
Breakfast was ok too.
Not many options in Tsumeb as far as accommodation goes.

The food was tasty & German, but nothing special.

Restaurant Minen Hotel is located at the United Nations Park in the northern part of Tsumeb. Cuisine is German. Furnishings and decoration provide a pleasant, yet slightly outdated, atmosphere. You can dine inside or at the terrace. Service is efficient and friendly. We came on a Sunday, and the place was relatively busy, a good sign. We went for Goulash Soup and Beef Schnitzel with Potato’s, Fries, Vegetables & German Salad accompanied by a carafe of Red Wine and Mineral Water. The food was tasty, but nothing special. The red wine was cold. When you fancy decent food and like to dine in an OK restaurant: Restaurant Minen is a good choice. Recommended.

Surprisingly good place in such a small town.

A pleasant place in Tsuneb. Quiet location, green souroundings . For the small place which Tsuneb is, a really good establishment. Rooms a bit dated, but clean. The food (breakfast and dinner) was good. Staff very helpful. Fast laundry service (reasonably priced). Great place to stay after leaving Etosha on the way back to the Windhoek area.

What a disappointment.

We decided to treat dear friends of ours that live in Tsumeb to dinner at the well known Minen Hotel Restaurant.
What a disappointing experience! This restaurant is at best a below average eating house and the food was described as being "bland" by one of the locals.
